CHET-SE Parent Volunteer Commitment Form

At CHET-SE, parent involvement is a vital part of building a strong and successful community for our students and families, as we are a volunteer run, volunteer led organization.

To maintain active membership in CHET-SE, each family is required to volunteer for two (2) separate CHET-SE events during the school year. For example: subbing in at PE, chaperoning a youth event, helping at an elementary party, etc. These volunteer commitments are in addition to any volunteer requirements associated with electives, student council, or graduations.

Volunteer Exemption:

Parents who serve as a CHET-SE group leader or weekly coach for P.E. are considered to have fulfilled this requirement and are not required to complete the additional event volunteer commitments.

I understand that my family is required to volunteer for two (2) separate CHET-SE events during the school year. I understand that these volunteer commitments are separate from any volunteer requirements related to electives, student council, or graduations. I also understand that if I serve as a CHET-SE group leader or P.E. coach, I am exempt from this additional volunteer requirement.

I understand that failure to fulfill the required two (2) CHET-SE event volunteer commitments will result in my family’s CHET-SE membership not being renewed for the following school year.
