CHET-SE Homecoming Dance

November 6^th,2021

1. The dance is open to CHETSE Students in grades 6-12 and all CHETSE graduates (Alumni Students).
2. Guests: There is a one guest maximum per CHET-SE member or alumni
3. Clothing: This is a semi-formal event so attendees will be dressed accordingly. We want to encourage ladies and gentlemen to dress modestly and according to the guidelines. If you arrive at the dance and are not wearing the proper attire, you will not be allowed admittance into the dance.
4. Ladies: Must wear a dress. This is a semi-formal dance so all dresses must be no shorter than 5 inches above the top of the knee. If your dress is above the knee, bike shorts are required to be worn underneath your dress. Two piece or Midriff dresses are not permitted. Strapless dresses are not permitted. Spaghetti straps are permitted. No low cut dresses that show cleavage, and your straps should stay in place without you having to put them up all night. No see-through dresses, skin tone lining is permitted. No backless dresses or dresses with very low backs. If the dress has a slit, it should not go higher than 2 inches above the knee. Remember to wear sensible shoes to dance in. Undergarments must be worn. Keep this in mind when you are looking for a dress. There is dress tape in stores that can be used to keep your dress in place.
5. Gentlemen: This is a semi-formal dance, so suits are encouraged. Other options are to wear, white jacket with black slacks, or for those in ROTC, CAP, or other military organizations may wear your formal/semi-formal uniforms. Bowties or neckties are required as well as dress shoes. Your ties, vest, etc. can be any color. No make-up.
6. No tennis shoes. No jeans. No t-shirts.
7. Attendees will need to check in when they arrive.
8. If an attendee leaves or does not stay in the bounds that have been set forth by the committee, they will be asked to leave.
9. No attendee will enter any area that has been deemed off limits: i.e., Offices, classrooms, kitchen, etc.
10. No alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, guns, knives, electronic cigarettes, vaping devices, and pipes, etc. are allowed at this event.
11. Attendees will be responsible for anything that is damaged or broken at the venue. The dance committee and chaperones are not responsible for the actions of the attendees. We expect every attendee, whether CHET-SE member, alumni, or guest, to behave respectfully to each other, the chaperones, and to the property.
12. The attendee will be asked to leave with no refund given, if any of the rules and guidelines have been broken.
13. There will be no song requests on the night of the formal. If you would like to make song requests in advance of the formal, you can email them to Holly Warfield at [email protected]. You must have signed up and paid for the dance to be able to send in song requests. Also, all song requests must be submitted by October 31^st to be considered for submission.
14. Attendees must follow CHET-SE COVID guidelines that are in place at the time of the dance.
15. Early Registration (registrations and payments postmarked or received prior to October 22, 2021) Early Registration cost per ticket is $10 for Alumni and their Guests.  Cost per ticket after October 22^nd, 2021 is $15 for alumni and their Guests.
