CHET-SE Youth Seminar
Friday, March 6, 2026 9:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
Sabino Road Baptist Church, 2710 N. Sabino Canyon Rd.
What is the Youth Seminar? A Career Day featuring speakers representing many different career fields and ministries, educational info sessions, and hands-on activities.
Some of this year’s sessions include a pharmacist, a geologist, a service dog trainer, a veterinarian, a chiropractor, a mission aviation pilot, JTED, a law enforcement officer, cookie decorating, STEM activities, and more!
Who can come? Homeschooled students in 6th through 12th grade. Parents may also attend.
COST:
Early Bird Registration (payment received on or before February 27, 2026):
$12.00 - first student in family
$8.00 - additional students in family
$7.00 – parent
Regular Registration (payment received after February 27, 2026):
$16.00 – first student in family
$12.00- additional students in family
$9.00 – parent
Parent Volunteers have no registration fee, but please register for the sessions you plan to attend.
Pay online, by mail, or in person. If mailing, make checks payable to “CHET-SE” and send to Laura Denker, 11420 E. Camino del Sahuaro, Tucson, AZ 85749. Pay in person at any CHET-SE event to Amber Polivchak or Cara Hasbrouck. Partial Scholarships are available if needed.

Lunch is not included in the registration cost. Students may bring a packed lunch from home or pre-purchase a boxed lunch from Chick-Fil-A for $11.00.

Lunch must be ordered and paid for by Saturday, February 28th so that we can finalize our group order. No additional Chick-Fil-A orders or payments will be taken after that day.
Water bottles and Eegees will be provided for everyone. A mid-afternoon dessert/fruit snack will also be served.
Attendees will need to sign up for sessions in advance.
Monday, February 23rd – Schedule and workshop descriptions will be posted on the CHET-SE website
Tuesday, February 24th - Google form link to request sessions will be sent to all registered/paid attendees.
The schedule is subject to change.
Sessions will be filled in the order in which the selections are received from registered/paid students. If room capacities are reached, then sessions will be closed to further signups.
When students arrive at the Youth Seminar on March 6th, they will receive a printed copy of their schedule for the day.
